Nov. 22

A 42-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Boise, Idaho, for theft.

Report of a two-vehicle, hit and run accident in the 200 block of West Broadway Avenue.  

Report of vehicle hitting a residence in the 1900 block of West Marina Drive. Driver of vehicle 1 turned to leave the parking lot of the trailer park and hit one of the units.

A 44-year-old woman was arrested for second-degree burglary.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident on Wheeler Road. Vehicle 1 was traveling west on Wheeler, followed by vehicle 2. Driver of vehicle 1 stopped and backed up, intending to make a turn, and ran into the front of vehicle 2.

Report of theft at a residence in the 1000 block of South Ashley Way. Victim's ex-girlfriend allegedly left town and took his computer with her.

Report of theft from a job site at 1158 N. Stratford Rd. Victim had a bag full of work tools stolen from a job site. Estimated value was $500.

A 20-year-old man was arrested and released for DUI. His vehicle was towed.

Nov. 23

A 38-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant for violation of a no-contact order.

Report of theft at a residence in the 1300 block of South Lakeway Drive. Victim said unknown suspects had removed items from his garage sometime during the last month. Stolen items included a band saw, accessories for a table saw and softball pitching machine. Estimated value $1,400.

Report of break-in at a residence in the 2100 block of West Neppel Street. Victim said the back door was kicked in sometime during the previous day while he was at work. Nothing was stolen.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at a business at 934 N. Stratford Rd. Driver of vehicle 1 was attempting a left turn and ran into vehicle 2.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the parking lot of a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. Drivers of vehicle 1 and 2 ran into each other in the parking lot.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the intersection of West Peninsula Drive and South Locust Lane. Driver of vehicle 1 was eastbound on Peninsula and allegedly ran a stop sign. Vehicle 2, northbound on Locust, ran into vehicle 1. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for failing to stop at stop sign.

Report of theft from a business at 601 S. Pioneer Way. Unknown suspect took a bottle of liquor and fled the scene in gray and black sedan. Suspect was described as an Hispanic male in his late teens wearing a plaid shirt.

A 40-year-old man was arrested for violation of a no-contact order. A 39-year-old man was arrested for three outstanding Grant County warrants.

Nov. 24

Report of tires slashed on a vehicle at a residence in the 100 block of West Sixth Avenue. Unknown suspect stabbed all four tires; estimated damage $500.

A 35-year-old woman was arrested for vehicle theft after she fled from the scene of a traffic stop. Officers pursued the car and stopped it in the 200 block of North Dale Road.

A 45-year-old man was arrested for vehicle prowl.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of East Fifth Avenue and South Alder Street. Driver of vehicle 1 failed to yield to vehicle 2. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for failing to yield.

Report of theft in the 1100 block of South Grand Drive. Unknown suspect unbolted a generator from a trailer.

Report of theft at a business at 1715 West Broadway Ave. Unknown suspects cut a hole in the fence and stole about $2,000 worth of tools and car parts.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the parking lot of a business at 1891 E. Kittleson Rd. Driver of vehicle 1 backed up and hit the rear of vehicle 2, which was unoccupied.

Report of a burglary at a residence in the 1100 block of East Hayden Drive. Unknown suspects removed an air conditioner, entered the residence and broke into the victim's safe. Thieves took a computer, estimated value $500, tools and undisclosed items from the safe.

Report of attempted burglary in the 500 block of North Crestview Drive. Victim said a woman stole a package from his porch, and he took the keys from her car while it was parked in his driveway. Officers contacted the woman and her passenger. The driver, a 29-year-old woman, and the passenger, a 38-year-old woman, were arrested on outstanding warrants.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the parking lot of a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd. Driver of vehicle 1 said she was trying to merge into traffic and started backing up when she other drivers wouldn't let her in. She backed into vehicle 2.

Report of attempted theft at a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd. An unknown suspect attempted to push a cart out with unpurchased items, but fled without the items when challenged.

A 25-year-old man was arrested for DUI after a one-vehicle accident at the roundabout at Yonezawa Boulevard and South Clover Drive. The driver failed to negotiate the roundabout, drove through the middle of the roundabout, jumped the curb and came to rest on the sidewalk.

Report of vandalism at a service organization at 1517 West Broadway Ave. Victim said an unknown man got into an argument with her husband, and allegedly slashed two tires on her vehicle when he left the scene.

Report of theft at a business at 1810 East Kittleson Rd. Unknown suspect stole case of beer, estimated value $22, Suspect fled in a red Chevrolet pickup.

Report of vehicle stolen overnight from a residence in the 1000 block of South Ashley Way. Vehicle is described as a 1989 Chevrolet Cavalier with a primer black paint job and black rims, license plate Washington AZZ6839.

A 39-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Grant County felony warrant.

Report of theft at a business at 1800 W. Broadway Ave. Unidentified suspect broke a window and stole several items, including a laptop computer.

A 29-year-old woman was arrested for forgery and possession of stolen property.

Report of vehicle prowl at a residence in the 600 block of South Division Street. Unknown suspect took the battery from the engine, gear shifter from the cabin and garden shears.

Report of theft from a residence in the 200 block of East Ninth Avenue. Suspect forced her way into relative's residence and took consumer electronics, estimated value $245.

Report of vehicle prowl sometime in the last 48 hours a business at 1800 W. Broadway Ave. Unknown suspect stole two headlights and two turn signals from the vehicle. Estimated value of items stolen was $250, damage to the vehicle was estimated at $150.

Report of attempted shoplifting at a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. A 22-year-old man was arrested for third-degree theft and on outstanding misdemeanor warrants. A 22-year-old woman was arrested for second-degree burglary.

Report of shoplifting from a business at 601 S. Pioneer Way. Employees said two suspects pushed out a cart with an estimated $300 in merchandise.

A man, no age given, was arrested on an outstanding Grant County warrant after he was reported acting suspiciously at a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd.

A 54-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Report of two bicycles stolen from the porch of a residence in the 700 block of South D Street. One bike is described as blue with a New York Giants sticker, and the second is a Freestyle brand, black with a green sticker saying "hyper."

Report of theft from a business at 1819 E. Kittleson Rd. Victim said he left a camera in the motel room and it was gone when he returned.

Report of vehicle egged sometime overnight at a residence in the 100 block of West Belmont Avenue.

Report of two-vehicle, minor injury accident at the intersection of East Broadway Avenue and Alder Street. Driver of vehicle 1 slowed for a signal changing from yellow to red and was rear-ended by vehicle 2.

Report of shoplifting from a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd. Suspect who had been previously trespassed stole food and ran from the building.

Report of vehicle prowl from the parking lot of a business at 1400 Yonezawa Blvd.

A 36-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding WDOC warrant.

Report of two-vehicle, hit-and-run accident at the Moses Lake City Hall. Driver of vehicle 2 was making left turn onto Chestnut Street; driver of vehicle 1 allegedly ran the stop sign at East Fifth Avenue and hit vehicle 2. Driver of vehicle 1 fled the scene. Vehicle is described as a gray and tan Chevrolet pickup with an aluminum toolbox in the back.

A 20 year-old-man was arrested for DUI and a warrant for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Shelena Baker, 29, Moses Lake, was booked on outstanding Grant County District Court warrants for three counts of third-degree driving with a suspended license.
