Last Friday lunch change

OTHELLO — The Greater Othello Chamber of Commerce has changed its Last Friday Lunch for November to Dec. 9.

Last Friday Lunch is a business luncheon that is held at the Othello Senior Center every last Friday of the month, Chamber Manager Bianca Mendoza noted. Representatives of different Othello organizations get together and talk about what is happening in Othello.

“This meeting serves the purpose of raising awareness of community events and other important news,” Mendoza said.

The November Lunch was rescheduled because November’s last Friday falls on a holiday weekend. Mendoza said there will not be a Last Friday Lunch at the end of December.
