Notice of Public Hearing City of Othello Planning Commission - Retooling Our Code & Critical Areas Ordinance Update Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission for the City of Othello will be holding public hearings to consider changes to the Othello Municipal Code including the update of the Critical Areas Ordinances. Othello's critical areas codes include: Frequently flooded areas; Geologically hazardous areas; Wetlands; Critical aquifer recharge areas; Fish and wildlife conservation areas. Several public meetings will be held before the Planning Commission with the first two scheduled on Monday November 21st, and another on December 19th, 2016. Planning Commission meetings begin at 6:00 pm or as soon thereafter as possible, at the City of Othello City Hall, Council Meeting Room, 500 East Main Street, Othello, Washington. The Planning Commission will consider all public testimony as they consider making a recommendation to the Othello City Council. OTHELLO CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE UTILITY RATE INCREASES The City of Othello and Adams County Water District #1 have agreements for water and sewer supply. A public hearing has been scheduled to review the proposed utility rate increases and review the justification for the rate increases for the Adams County Water District #1 during the regular City Council meeting scheduled for Monday, December 5, 2016 shortly after at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers, 500 E.
