Moses Lake girls bowling bested at Eastmont

EAST WENATCHEE — Reigning 4A state champion Cheyanne Greening is already in mid-season form.

Greening came one pin away from a perfect game, posting scores of 299 and 248 against Moses Lake at Eastmont Lanes on Tuesday.

The Wildcats swept the Chiefs 4-0.

“We came in knowing we were faced with a tough opponent,” head coach Carolyn Johnson said. “But overall the girls improved by 63.”

Moses Lake lost the first game 921-679 and dropped the second 1,025-742.

Danielle Garcia posted the high game for the Chiefs with 182.

In the Baker games, Eastmont won the first 165-118 and narrowly won the second 156-154.

Moses Lake hosts West Valley, 3:30 p.m., Thursday.
