Nov. 14

Report of vehicle prowl in the 100 block of North Crestview Drive. Sometime over the weekend unknown suspects stole several pieces of equipment from the vehicle.

Report of attempted phone fraud. Victim was told the caller represented the PUD and would turn off electricity within 45 minutes without payment. The caller's phone number was 800-498-6443, ext. 1500.

Report of attempted theft at a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. A 53-year-old woman and 39-year-old woman attempted to exchange merchandise they had taken from the store.

Report of theft from a business at 601 S. Pioneer Way. The suspect, a 31-year-old man, pushed a cart of items out of the store without paying, estimated value $220.74, and fled in a vehicle when employees attempted to stop him. He was identified from store security.

Report of possible theft at a residence in the 500 block of North Earl Road. Victim said he had ordered a camera and camera backpack, supposed to be delivered Nov. 7, but nothing ever arrived.

Report of theft at a residence in the 1400 block of South Sunset Drive. Victim said unknown suspects stole her Seahawks flag and flagpole, estimated value $100.

Report of attempted fraud. Reporting party said she received a check for an item she was selling, over the amount of the sale. The thief asked her to wire back the leftover money along with sending the package. But the reporting party said her bank told her the check was fraudulent.

Report of theft from the porch of a residence in the 700 block of South Hawthorne Drive sometime between 1:30 and 4 p.m. Package contained comic books, estimated value $30.

Report of theft from a residence in the 1100 block of South Ashley Way sometime between 4:45 and 5:45 p.m. Unknown suspects stole an all-terrain motorcycle from the back yard. Vehicle is described as a 50cc Kawasaki.

Report of burglary at a residence in the 200 block of West Sixth Avenue. Unknown suspects stole two Smith and Wesson 9mm handguns, estimated value $1,050, and an Apple computer and tablet, estimated value $2,500.

Report of shots fired in the 5200 block of Patton Boulevard. Victim said suspect in a white mid-size vehicle pulled up beside him and asked who was in his car. Victim said it was none of their business and drove away. As both cars drove down the road a suspect in the passenger side of the car shot one round at the victim and the car left.

Report of attempted theft at a church in the 500 block of West Nelson Road. The back of a storage unit was pried open and a window broken.

Grant County Jail

Nov. 13

Trina McCurty, 31, Grand Coulee, was booked into the Grant County Jail for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Tyler Hilton, 24, Moses Lake, was booked for possession of a stolen firearm.

Michael Ehat, 51, Tacoma, was booked on an outstanding Snohomish County warrant for DUI.

Armando Estrada Escobar, 18, Moses Lake, was booked for possession of a stolen firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm, DUI and second-degree driving with a suspended license. 

Nov. 14

Abraham Grimaldo. 19, Moses Lake, was booked for first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.

Mary Wilson, 46, Soap Lake, was booked for violation of a no-contact order (domestic violence).

Mario Valencia, 37, Ephrata, was booked for second-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence) and fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Nov. 15

Leona Carver, 29, no address given, was booked on outstanding Grant County District Court warrants for first-degree criminal trespassing, criminal solicitation, third-degree theft, and third-degree driving with a suspended license.

James Hale, 52, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Evelyn Ramirez Garcia, 31, Wenatchee, was arrested on an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI, driving without required ignition interlock and third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Allan Higgs, 54, Spokane, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI.

Suyedid Vargas, 26, East Wenatchee, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI and second-degree driving with a suspended license.
