Othello ousted from postseason

OTHELLO — Othello was outscored 14-0 in the second half and lost its crossover game to West Valley 21-6.

The loss bounced the Huskies from the postseason.

West Valley held a narrow 7-6 lead at halftime before scoring two touchdowns in the second half.

West Valley advanced to the Class 2A state tournament and will play Franklin-Pierce.
