Nov. 3

Report of $2,500-$4,000 worth of welding equipment stolen from a trailer in the 1200 block of West Columbia Avenue.

A woman reported purchasing a phone from Craigslist. The seller of the phone reportedly took the woman's money and left with the phone.

Report of a student at Moses Lake High School smoking marijuana in a bathroom at the school. The student was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and a smoking device.

A woman reported a possible suspect in a drive-by-shooting at her residence in the 500 block of South Canterbury Lane on Halloween night drove past her house. Police checked the area, but did not locate the vehicle.

Report of several males attempting to hotwire a vehicle in the 1000 block of West Gem Avenue. Police determined the subjects were fixing the vehicle with permission from the owner.

A property manager of a house in the 300 block of South Gibby Drive reported finding two teenagers smoking marijuana in the house's garage. The teens fled the scene. The man requested extra patrols in the neighborhood.

An intoxicated male was spotted walking in and out of traffic in the area of South Ash Street and West Third Avenue. The suspect had a warrant out for his arrest and was taken into custody.

A man was arrested for DUI after driving his vehicle into a wall at the Surf 'n Slide Water Park. The man was cited and released from police custody.

A woman reported witnessing a white SUV with chrome wheels back out of a parking lot on Broadway Avenue, strike a parked vehicle and flee the scene.

A man reported seeing a large gun safe at the bottom of a canal.

A mannequin of Hillary Clinton was reportedly hanging from a noose.

A woman reported that her doorknob had been messed with, possibly indicating a burglary attempt.

A man reported his garage had been broken into.

A woman reported finding her vehicle gone.

A man reported his license plates had been stolen.

Grant County Jail

Nov. 3

Miguel Barajas Jr., 19, of Quincy, was booked for possession of a stolen vehicle, third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license, possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana under 40 grams.

April Bernthal, 38, of Othello, was arrested on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for third-degree theft.

James Lee, 39, of Soap Lake, was arrested on a Department of Corrections order.

Angela Masoner, 52, of Federal Way, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Carlos Silva Jr., 20, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for obstruction of a law enforcement officer.

Jair Galvan, 18, of Moses Lake, was arrested for third-degree assault and obstruction.

Roberto Mendoza, 38, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrant for first-degree assault, possession of meth with intent to deliver, attempted delivery of meth, hit-and-run of an attended vehicle and obstruction.

Benjamin Hill, 24, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding warrant out of Douglas County.

Carlos Palomin, 44, of Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree malicious mischief and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.

Charlotte Albert, 50, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on two counts of attempted second-degree assault, eluding a police vehicle, hit-and-run of an attended vehicle, second-degree malicious mischief, resisting arrest, DUI, obstructing a law enforcement officer and reckless driving.
