Quincy to have open house for new PD

QUINCY — The Quincy Police Department will be showing off its new digs to the public next week with a series of open house visits.
According to Police Chief Bob Heimbach, the new building will be open for public tours on Tuesday, Nov. 8, from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, Nov 10, from 5-7 p.m., and again on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to noon and then from 4-6 p.m.
“We’re trying to make it as open as we can and accommodate as many people as we can,” Heimbach said.
