Look closer to home for the next police chief

The City of Moses Lake Police Department already has many qualified officers to take over as chief of police. It would be wise and great to hire a woman to be our next chief; however, the department has many great candidates within the department who would do an outstanding job for the City of Moses Lake. But it’s very important to hire a chief from within the department. Outsiders almost never work; people work better with those they know.

So let’s keep this department great by giving a woman to be Moses Lake’s first female police chief. Then other cities will follow Moses Lake’s example.
