May 18

Police contacted two individuals who were asleep in a field near a business in the 1700 block of East Kittleson Road. The subjects woke up and cleared out their mess upon police contact.

A man was spotted via video surveillance taking a bottle of alcohol from a business in the 1100 block of North Stratford Road, putting it into his pants and walking out of the store.

A man told police he lost his wallet and an unknown person used his debit card at an ATM in the 1700 block of South Clover Drive.

An unknown suspect walked out of Safeway carrying a basket full of unpurchased groceries.

A juvenile was caught stealing popcorn chicken from Walmart. The business requested charges be filed due to the suspect’s history of theft from a Walmart in the Spokane area.

Report of a possible drug deal between three subjects at a fast food restaurant in the 500 block of East Wheeler Road. Police found two of the suspects and permanently trespassed them from the business.

Report of a woman possibly passed out in a restroom in the 400 block of East Fifth Avenue. The woman advised police that she is homeless and has been staying in the restroom.

A man reported the ignition on his truck was tampered with in the 1200 block of West Concord Avenue.

A suspicious RV was found parked on Bemis Street. The RV was found to have a stolen temporary tag in one of its windows and a bag of methamphetamine was reportedly observed through a window. The vehicle had not been licensed since 2008 and police could not find the registered owner. The RV was impounded and will be searched when police receive a search warrant.

Two boys advised an unknown subject driving a truck followed them on a dirt hill located between Kiefer Drive and Pioneer Way. Police could not locate the suspect vehicle.

Three juveniles were reported smoking marijuana in a vehicle.

A student came to school with bruises on him, saying that his adult brother had assaulted him.

A woman reported that her grandson struck her granddaughter.

A dog was reported chained up without water.

A woman reported that her neighbor was out in his driveway with a pistol in his hand yelling at her about her dogs that had gotten out. She explained that the dogs were attracted to the garbage piled up on his property.

A woman reported that her wallet had been stolen out of the center console of her vehicle.

A male was reported going door to door selling security.

A man reported hearing gunshots nearby. He had earlier reported guns stolen from his residence.

A man reported receiving a text from someone against whom he had a no-contact order.

A man reported his house was broken into.

May 19

About five people were reported sitting in the middle of Frontage Road.

A man reported that his 15-year-old daughter had gone out her window and he could not find her.

Two cows were reported walking loose in yards.

A woman reported an unknown person sleeping in a sleeping bag near her shed.

A restaurant reported a possible check fraud.
