Wahluke Junior High School names May 6 Students of the Week

MATTAWA — In the Wahluke Junior High School Student of the Week program the students are nominated by their teachers. They are given a certificate and recognized during lunch for their excellence.
Once a month they get an extra five minutes for lunch and get to sit at a special table.
Also selected is a Warrior of the Week. That selection is based on performance is based on a Wahluke Way noon-time running-jogging-walking program. Some weeks there is no selection.
Warriors of the Week for May 6 were: sixth grade – Denise Caro, Martin Sandoval; seventh grade – Guadalupe Bermudez, Jesse Morales; eighth grade – Alejandro Ruelas, Elena Perez.
