MOSES LAKE — Parents can have their children’s car seats and booster seats checked at the annual “Car Seat Checkup” from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Car seat technicians will be set up on the Beech Street side of the Surf ‘n Slide parking lot, at the corner of Beech Street and West Fifth Avenue.
Parents can learn how to install a car seat or booster seat properly and find out if it’s time to buy a new car seat. The technicians will answer questions have about child seat safety.
The event is sponsored by the Grant County Health District, Safe Kids Grant County, Moses Lake Police Department and the Central Basin Traffic Safety Task Force.
