A woman was trespassed from a truck stop in the 1800 block of East Kittleson Road after causing a disturbance over wanting to exchange a non-refundable bus ticket.

A man reported a man and woman pretending to be with the Grant County PUD attempted to enter his home in the 2200 block of West Peninsula Drive on April 29. The suspects allegedly stated they there were there to check water pipes and the man said he denied them entry into his home.

Two men were caught attempting to steal a remote control drone from Walmart. The two suspects were permanently trespassed from all Walmart stores.

Report of an unknown subject attempting to pry open a garage door in the 2700 block of West Peninsula Drive sometime within the last two days.

A woman reported losing her ring on South Beech Street and later learning a woman had brought the ring into a jewelry store and attempted to trade it for earrings.

Report of two juveniles doing drugs in a vehicle behind a residence in the 1700 block of South Beaumont Drive. Police contacted the two subjects, who were under 21, and they admitted to smoking marijuana. One of the subjects gave the officer the remaining marijuana.

A man reported his ex-girlfriend’s son threw rocks at him in the 2200 block of West Broadway Avenue. Police could not locate the suspect.

Report of a man stealing items from Party City and fleeing the store. The suspect was able to elude police contact.

A woman reportedly became upset at her sister because she wouldn’t let her hold her child. The woman assaulted her sister and left the scene prior to officer arrival.

Report of a burglary at a residence in the 900 block of South Ironwood. Numerous items were stolen in the burglary, including a set of keys to a 1999 Chrysler Concord, with the vehicle being reported as stolen.

Report of a man attempting to get into two vehicles in the 1400 block of North Mary Street by checking door handles. The suspect left on foot when a woman yelled at him.

A man reported that his girlfriend’s son tried to hotwire his van.

A woman reported receiving threats to her life and property.

Two dogs were reported running at large on Arlington Drive.

A man reported that his wife had taken their children out of state.

A woman reported finding a purse and phone on her porch.

A vehicle was reportedly left on the street for about a year.

A woman reported finding needles in her yard.

A woman reported that she saw clothes in the middle of the road. When she went back to look, she saw a male wearing the clothes.

A man reported that his sister’s neighbor’s dog was being aggressive.

A woman reported that someone shot through her door.

A female and child were reported walking down a road crying while a male hiding in the bushes was watching them.

A man reported that a male got out of a truck and pointed a gun at him.

A man was told to leave a house but told officers that he was unable to leave as he had no gas in his car. He further advised that the subjects have threatened him in the past.

May 6

A woman told officers there was an ongoing issue with a subject at her residence throwing things around. She said that there were two butcher blocks full of knives sitting on the sidewalk near her residence.

A woman reported that her neighbor’s house was broken into and she could see a female with a backpack walking toward the back of the house.

May 4

Matthew Pellham, 29, of Ephrata, was arrested and booked on a Grant County District Court warrant.

Lewis Edwards, 52, was arrested and housed by Colville Tribal Corrections and transported to the jail for a Grant County Superior Court warrant.

Jeffrey Alexander, 46, of Soap Lake, was arrested and booked on a GCDC warrant.

Alexa McLaughlin, 26, of Moses Lake, was arrested for second-degree burglary and third-degree theft.

Virgilio Bonifacio, 60, of Moses Lake, was arrested for fourth-degree assault.

Paul Cardwell, 31, of Moses Lake, turned himself in on a GCDC commitment.

Latasha Weyer, 24, of Quincy, was arrested for a GCDC warrant.

Kimberly Bassett, 50, of Mountlake Terrace, was arrested for second-degree assault.

George Metsker, 46, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for second-degree burglary.
