A man reported receiving a fraudulent phone call from a person claiming to be his grandson. The caller told the man he was in jail and needed $2,000.

Report of a man taking a phone out of a woman’s hand during an argument and throwing it through a sliding glass door. The suspect fled the scene prior to officer arrival.

Moses Lake police assisted the Grant County Sheriff’s Office in finding a subject who ran from deputies during a vehicle theft investigation. The suspect was located and turned over to the sheriff’s office.

Police responded to a report of a physical domestic incident between a father and son in the 2100 block of West Peninsula Drive. The son was arrested for fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief.

A man reported his niece opened an account with a cable provider under his name without his permission. The man’s niece said she was given permission to open the account.

A woman reported being harassed by a woman in the nail salon at Walmart. The involved parties were contacted and advised to avoid confrontation.

Report of a woman yelling for help in an apartment on West Ivy Avenue. Police contacted the woman who said she was assaulted by her ex-girlfriend and her two sons.

A loaded syringe was located in a business’ garbage can in the 500 block of East Wheeler Road. The syringe was disposed of in an appropriate container.

A female reported receiving death threats via Facebook.

A man reported that a window was broken out of his vehicle.

A fraudulent phone call was reported purporting to be from the FBI.

Officers were called to the Grant County Courthouse for a fight that was about to begin. No weapons were reportedly involved.

A pressure washer was reported stolen.

A man reported that his garage was burgled.

Sunglasses valued at more than $650 were reported stolen.

A male was reported cutting his wrists with a knife.

A woman reported that a male came to her door and asked to use the bathroom. When she refused, he was seen looking into her vehicle as he walked away.

Two separate fraudulent calls purporting to be from the IRS were reported.

A woman reported finding a boat tied up to her property.

A woman called to tell officers that a male came into her living room and changed the TV channel. When she turned the TV off, he threw the remote at her.

A woman reported that her home was burglarized and a phone, wallet and tablet were taken.

A man reported that a male in a melon-colored car was taking pictures of his house and property.

Several males in gang colors were reported running in front of vehicles.

A woman reported that her brother, who had a warrant, was at her residence and becoming belligerent.

A man was reported lying down by the side of a road with a gas can.

Vincente Miron, 47, of Ephrata, was booked on a Grant County District Court warrant.

Hernan Soriano, 23, of Moses Lake, was booked on a GCDC warrant.

Holly Woods, 26, no listed city of residence, was booked for second-degree trafficking stolen property and a GCDC warrant.

Amadi Shaw, 29, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on a Department of Corrections order for arrest and detention.

Carlene Davis, 24, of Soap Lake, was booked on a GCDC warrant.

Robert Inks, 56, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on a Grant County Superior Court warrant.

Jorge Patino, 21, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for third-degree driving with a suspended/revoked license and a GCDC warrant.

Daniel Zellmer, 63, a transient, was booked for unlawful possession of a firearm.

Jesse James, 23, of Ephrata, was arrested and booked for second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm and tampering with evidence.

Andres Rodriguez, 64, of Quincy, was arrested and booked on a GCDC warrant.

May 4

Louise Jensen, 26, of Soap Lake, was arrested and booked on a GCDC warrant.

Stephanie Martinez, 25, of Quincy, was arrested and booked on a GCDC warrant.
