NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PORT DISTRICT NO. 8

OF GRANT COUNTY'S PROPOSED SALE OF

RAILROAD EASEMENT WITHIN INDUSTRIAL

DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 4

Port District No. 8 of Grant County (the “Port of Warden”) will hold a public hearing on April 19, 2016, at 5:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, at the Port office located at 201 South Ash, Warden, Washington, to hear and determine the advisability of selling a railroad easement within Industrial Development District No. 4 to Columbia Basin Railroad, Inc., for the purpose of constructing, maintaining, inspecting, repairing and replacing of railroad tracks and all reasonable appurtenances thereto, together with the right of access, ingress and egress over, across the following property; to wit

An Easement in the Southwest Quarter of Section 16, Township 17 North, Range 30 East, W.M., Grant County Washington, said Easement being 50.00 feet wide, measured perpendicular to, West of and contiguous with the following described: Survey Line.

Commencing at the South Quarter of said Section 16, a USBR Brass Cap from which the Southwest Corner of said Section 16, Bears S89º52'02” W, 2659.11 feet, a 5/8” Rebar; Thence S89º52'02” W. along the South line of said Southwest quarter, 2247.87 feet, to the West Right of Way, of the Burlington Northern Railroad, said point bears N89º52'02”E, 411.24 feet from Southwest corner of said Section 16; Thence N15º05'16”E. along said West Right of Way, 1482.05 feet to a 5/8” Rebar and Cap marked PLS 12491, the beginning of a 5679.65 foot radius Right of Way Curve, concave to the West, a Radial line to said point bears S74º54'32”E; Thence along the arc of said Right of Way Curve, to the left of a distance of 115.00 feet through a central angle of 01º09'36”, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING of said Survey Line;

Thence continuing along said Survey Line on said West Right of Way, along said 5679.65 foot curve an arc distance of 762.29 feet, through a central angle of 07º41'24” to a 5/8” Rebar and Cap marked PLS 12491; Thence N06º14'28”E. along said West Right of Way, 355.76 feet to the North line of said Southwest Quarter of Section 16, the Terminus of said Survey Line and said Easement.

Public testimony on the proposed sale of an easement to Columbia Basin Railroad, Inc. shall be taken at the hearing. Any person may submit written comments regarding the proposals or obtain a map or additional information at Port of Warden, 201 South Ash, Warden, Washington. Written comments and oral testimony at all public hearings shall be made part of the public record.
