Kimberly Kay Hackbart, 48, lifetime resident of Moses Lake, died suddenly Saturday, March 26, 2016 in Moses Lake. Kimberly was born on Jan. 26, 1968 in Moses Lake, Wash. to Kenneth and Debra (Smith) Hackbart.

Kimberly attended Moses Lake High School. She enjoyed doing crafts, gardening, camping, fishing and any other outdoor activities. She had a love for animals, especially her furry companions Shasta, Scruffy and Lucy. You would never see Kim without her dogs; she loved them dearly.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Hackbart, paternal grandparents Roy and Anna Hackbart and maternal grandfather Lloyd Stark.

She is survived by her mother Debra Smith, sister Katina and husband Scott Swartz and nieces Kailee and Britney Swartz all of Moses Lake, Wash.; nephew Colby Swartz of Pasco, Wash.; grandmother Dolores Stark of Watertown S.D. and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

At Kim’s request, no services will be held. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kimberly’s name to: Grant County Humane Society Animal Outreach, 6725 Randolph Rd. NE, Moses Lake, WA 98837.
