Report of attempted burglary at a business at 223 East Third Ave. Reporting party said unknown suspects had broken the front door glass next to the door lock, but didn’t gain entry.

Report of hit and run with property damage. Unidentified yellow vehicle hit the garage door of a residence in the 900 block of East Hill Avenue.

Report of attempted phone fraud. Reporting party was told she owed money to the Internal Revenue Service, but became aware of the IRS phone scams only after the call.

Report of theft from a business at 933 North Stratford Rd. Suspect stole a new phone, retail value about $800. The suspect and the incident were captured on video, and the case is still under investigation.

A man, age not given, was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for threatening to damage property (domestic violence) and attempted third-degree assault. Reporting party said the man, her boyfriend, came to her workplace and threatened to burn their house down.

Report of burglary from a residence in the 2900 block of West Lakeside Drive. Reporting party said a lawnmower was removed from the shed overnight, valued at about $730.

Report of shoplifting from a business at 601 South Pioneer Way. Charges pending.

A 34-year-old woman was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for vehicle theft.

A 25-year-old woman was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for DUI and improper backing. Her vehicle was towed.

A 51-year-old man was cited for third-degree theft after attempting to shoplift merchandise from a business at 1005 North Stratford Rd.

A 28-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for violation of a no-contact order.

March 29

A 22-year-old man was being sought on charges of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) after an incident at a residence in the 1000 block of West Third Avenue.

Report of attempted burglary in the 800 block of East Hill Avenue. Reporting party said someone broke the door, door frame and lock. Damage estimated at $200.

A 28-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for an outstanding warrant for possession of methamphetamine.

A woman told officers that her sister had run away. The sister was supposed to be in court and didn’t show up.

A male threw a can of spaghetti through a fire station window, breaking the window.

A man reported that the license plate was stolen from his vehicle.

Dead sheep were reported in two separate locations.

An orchard reported vandalism to its irrigation system.

Suspicious people were reported looking at cars.

A truck was reported stolen.

A landowner reported that her tenants wouldn’t let her take pictures of the property.

A woman reported a suspicious vehicle parked in front of her property all day.

A woman reported that her grandson had not come home on the bus.

A male refused to leave a trailer park when he was told to. The reporting party told officers that this was an ongoing problem.

A school bus garage reported that several vehicles had the valve stems stolen from their tires.

A woman reported that her ex-husband was harassing her and her daughter.

A man reported his sheds were broken into.

March 28

Travis Stotts, 20, of Moses Lake, was arrested for residential burglary.

Jesse James, 23, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for residential burglary.

Tricia Brown, 32, of Soap Lake, was arrested for residential burglary, second-degree theft and forgery.

Leanne Hardy, 24, was arrested and booked on four Grant County District Court warrants, a Department of Corrections warrant and a Douglas County Superior Court warrant.

Fabiola Aniceto, 31, of Mattawa, was booked on fourth-degree assault domestic violence.

March 29

Konstantin Sergienko, 40, of Soap Lake, was arrested for a DOC order.

Isaac Avila, 22, of Royal City, was arrested for DUI, third-degree driving with a suspended license, operating a vehicle without ignition interlock, making false statements to a public servant, a Grant County Superior Court warrant and a warrant out of Benton County.
