March 22

Report of a person sleeping in a business’ bathroom in the 800 block of North Stratford Road. The subject was advised to not return to the location for 24 hours.

A man was arrested after stealing items from Rite Aid and activating door sensors as he left. The suspect was located after a short foot chase and cited for third-degree theft and obstruction.

Report of two packages stolen off of a porch in the 1300 block of East Megan Drive.

Report of a suspicious person looking into yards on North Washington Street. The subject was gone upon police arrival.

A person advised police a woman had fallen down in her front yard in the 800 block of South Grand Drive. After police had cleared the scene the reporting party called back again advising that the woman who fell down earlier in the day had threatened to kill her dog. The woman denied saying anything to the caller and the caller advised they would obtain an anti-harassment order.

Report of a suspicious dark blue GMC pickup truck in the Safeway parking lot. The male driver allegedly exchanged packages for money to miscellaneous people that came up to him. Officers could not locate the truck.

A man and woman allegedly stole two hats valued at $22 from a convenience store in the 1600 block of West Broadway Avenue. The business was advised to contact police when they locate video surveillance of the theft.

Report of a motorcycle stolen in the 1000 block of South Garden Drive.

Police advised two subjects who were collecting cans in the 200 block of West Knolls Vista Drive to not go onto private property.

A student at Chief Moses Middle School was found to have a confirmed warrant for truancy. The student was placed into custody and transported to the Grant County Juvenile Detention Facility.

Oscar Reyes, 29, of Moses Lake, was booked on a Department of Corrections warrant.

Caleb Surface, 24, transient, was booked on a DOC warrant.

Antonio Silva III, 34, of Moses Lake, was booked for a DOC arrest order.

Joseph Cunningham, 43, of Moses Lake, was booked on a DOC arrest order.

Orlando Rivera, 28, of Ephrata, was arrested and booked on possession of methamphetamine.

Orlando Ruiz, 42, of Moses Lake, was booked on a Grant County Superior Court warrant.

March 23

Jeannette Flores, 25, of Moses Lake, was booked on a Grant County District Court warrant.
