MOSES LAKE — A two-vehicle accident caused minor delays on a busy Moses Lake road on Sunday.

About 3:15 p.m. Jaquese Hardin, 22, of Moses Lake, was reportedly driving a 1996 Lexus ES south on South Pioneer Way in the curbside lane when she reached into the backseat to check on her child. Hardin reportedly lost control of her vehicle and cut in front of a 2006 Kia Sedona driven by Blake Demille, 46, of Moses Lake. Demille was heading south on South Pioneer Way in the centermost lane and struck the driver’s side of the Lexus, according to Moses Lake police.

Both Hardin and Demille received minor injuries in the accident and later received medical attention. Hardin will reportedly be cited for improper lane change and driving without proof of insurance.
