Ruth Mora

April 19, 1929 – March 14, 2016

Ruth Guzman Mora went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 14, 2016. She was born April 19, 1929 in Denver, CO to Cesaria and Pascal Guzman. Ruth married Paul Mora on Nov. 6, 1944. Paul and Ruth made their home in Quincy, Wash. in 1957.

Ruth was a devoted Christian; her passion and greatest joy was attending church and serving God. She always put God first in her life and ministered to many. She loved spending time with family and gardening and was known for her humor and her sweet spirit. Ruth retired from Lamb Weston after over 30 years of employment.

Ruth is survived by her six children: Paul Mora Jr., Auburn, Wash., Jo Cronyn, Spokane, Wash., Helen Swanson, Lena Swanson and Andrea Carlson all from Moses Lake, Wash. and Louisa Mora, East Wenatchee, Wash.; her 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pascal and Cesaria Guzman; three sons, David, Laurence and Frankie and two sisters, Esther Guerrero and Isabel from Calif.

A celebration of her life will be at the Quincy First Assembly of God Church, officiated by Ryan Simmons, at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2016. Services will follow in the Quincy Valley Cemetery.
