NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there has been proposed to the Franklin County Planning Commission an application by Charlie and Cathy Zuetrong, 5121 W Court Street, Pasco, WA 99301 for a zoning designation change, ZC 2016-02.

Said application is to rezone approximately 4.33 acres of land located within the City of Pasco Urban Growth Area Boundary. The zone change involves the following:

1. Approximately 2.09 acres from Retail Business C-1 to Residential Suburban 20,000 (RS-20); and

2. Approximately 2.24 acres from Office Zone (O) to Residential Suburban 20,000 (RS-20).

The land is designated for residential developmeint in the City of Pasco Urban Area Comprehensive Plan. There are no development plans currently for the property at this time. The review is for the zone change of the property only.

The subject parcel is described as follows:

LEGAL DESCRIPTION:

The zone involves the portions of the following two (2) Franklin County Tax Parcel Numbers located along Road 52 and W Court Street: 119112013 and 119112022.

NON-LEGAL DESCRIPTION:

The property is generally located along the east side of Road 52 and the north side of W. Court Street at the northeast intersection of Road 52 and W. Court Street.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that said application will be considered by the Franklin County Planning Commission. Said consideration will be a public hearing on April 5, 2016 at the hour of 6:30 p.m. in the Franklin County Courthouse, Commissioners Meeting Room, 1016 North 4th Avenue, Pasco, WA 99301 and all concerned may appear and present any support for or objections to the application. Written comments are accepted prior to the public hearing and those comments shall be submitted to the Franklin County Planning and Building Department, 1016 North 4th Avenue, Pasco, Washington 99301.
