Put trash cans out to make Soap Lake more attractive

Soap Lake’s mayor and city council want to draw visitors to Soap Lake, yet during the winter months there are no trash cans near the picnic tables nor the Healing Waters sundial.

Pet owners who are considerate enough to pick after their pets have no place to toss the messes or any other trash they may have. If traveling they probably aren’t comfortable about carrying it in their closed-up cars; therefore it’s left on the ground.

Even our mayor hasn’t picked up all of his campaign signs. Do you suppose that he doesn’t want to pick up months-old signs that are laying in dirty empty lots, and put them in his pretty car to take to the dumpster next to City Hall?
