Lakeshore Cleanup scheduled for Saturday

MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake Irrigation and Rehabilitation District’s annual cleanup of Moses Lake’s lakeshore is scheduled to make a return on Saturday.
People interested in volunteering in the beautification project are encouraged to meet at the Moses Lake Fire Station, located at 701. E. Third Avenue, at 9 a.m. for instructions. Coffee, hot chocolate and doughnuts will be served during registration time, with chili and cornbread on tap following the cleanup of the lakeshore about 1 p.m. The MLIRD encourages participants to wear boots and bring gloves, as the project can get messy.
