Notice is hereby given that Grant County will be reviewing a proposal submitted by the Grant County Planning Department to amend the Unified Development Code. DESCRIPTION: The proposed amendments will be procedural changes to Chapter 25.04 of Grant County Code, Permit Application Review Procedures. The changes will include, but may not be limited to: amend the appeal language in order to bring consistency with other areas of Grant County Code, simplify application requirements, and modify pre-application review procedures. SEPA: Exempt pursuant to WAC 197-11-800 (19). ADDITIONAL PERMITS: None. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: County Wide. ZONING: All zones. Any required mitigation will be pursuant to the Unified Development Code. PUBLIC HEARING: The Grant County Planning Commission will hold an open record public hearing at 7:00pm, April 6, 2016 in the New Commissioners Hearing Room, located on the bottom floor of the Grant County Courthouse at 35 C Street NW, Ephrata, WA 98823. At this time any person(s) may appear and provide testimony. Copies of the application materials (File P16-0088) are available from the Grant County Planning Department (Tyler Lawrence), 264 West Division Avenue - PO Box 37, Ephrata, WA, (509) 754-2011 ext. 2536, tlawrence@grantcountywa.gov; Front Office Hours are 8am-12pm and 1pm-4pm, Monday-Friday. Comments must be submitted by March 23, 2016 to the Grant County Planning Department. All comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, hand delivered, or sent via email. Any person has the right to comment, receive notice, participate in hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
