Yakima task force hunting fugitive with ML ties

YAKIMA — The Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force in Yakima is reportedly searching for a violent gang member with ties to the Moses Lake area of Grant County.

The task force is searching for 23-year-old Scott Lopez, who goes by the street name “Crazy Tank,’ according to a report from Seattle’s Q13 Fox. Lopez is a high-violent offender who is violating probation in Yakima County stemming from domestic violence assault and unlawful imprisonment convictions.

Lopez reportedly has tattoos all over his body, including “Norte” tattooed across his chest and the letters “N” and “S” on his right cheek. He is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds.

The Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force has reportedly indicated Lopez has ties to Yakima County and the Moses Lake and Soap Lake areas of Grant County.

Anybody with information regarding Lopez’s whereabouts can call in anonymous tips to the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-222-TIPS. To be eligible for cash rewards for information leading to a fugitive’s arrest, Callers must use the Crime Stoppers hotline.
