Nick Wallace is well qualified for judgeship

| March 3, 2016 12:45 PM

I am what many people consider a “dinosaur,” as far as computers and the newer cellphones are concerned. I still use a flip phone. A lot of people have been telling me to go on Nick Wallace’s Facebook to learn about his running for the position of Grant County Superior Court judge.

I personally do not have to go on Facebook to learn about Nick Wallace. We first became acquainted well over two years ago. Of course it was due to youth soccer. Jessie, my granddaughter, was 8 at the time. She then went on to play with CB United Soccer Club, which Nick was instrumental in starting. Coach Nick was totally involved then and is to this very day. Joelee, 11, another granddaughter, is currently playing for Coach Nick at the Endeavor Soccer Academy.

A few months ago, the governor appointed David Estudillo to fill the position of judge upon Judge Sperline’s retiring. This was until the upcoming election. There are too many people for me to even begin to list those endorsing Nick Wallace for the judge’s position: Many, many fellow lawyers, Sheriff Tom Jones, former Judge Evan Sperline and Grant County Clerk Kimberly A. Allen.

Obviously, for all these knowledgeable, influential people to endorse Nick Wallace, they must know and have faith in his ability to do the job. Again, if you are not a dinosaur like me, check out Nick Wallace’s Facebook. I’m sure you will be impressed.
