June 26

A woman reported someone placed condoms on the windshield wipers of her car in the 200 block of North Block Street. The woman wanted the incident documented in case she identifies the suspect and wants to obtain an anti-harassment order.

A man was observed attempting to enter a residence in the 1600 block of South Beaumont Drive through windows in the back of the house. The man was located in the area and identified by a witness. The man was booked into jail for residential burglary.

A man was arrested for burglary and assault after allegedly shoving a woman several times and taking her phone.

A man was arrested after some drugs were located in his pants by staff at Samaritan Hospital.

A 23-year-old man was arrested for second-degree rape of a child after admitting to having sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old on several occasions.

Report of a wallet found in the 900 block of Broadway Avenue. The wallet was placed into police property.

An unknown suspect stole a blue hand bag from the Surf ‘n Slide Water Park.

A man reported the windows on a business in the 500 block of South Interlake Road were broken out by some juveniles. A person reported catching the juveniles and taking them home. The person will be turning in a list of the juveniles’ names to police.

June 27

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at East Nelson Road and South Pioneer Way. Driver of vehicle 1 said she didn’t see vehicle 2 coming and turned in front of it. Driver of vehicle 2 couldn’t stop in time.

Report of possible animal abuse. The case is still under investigation.

Report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the parking lot of a business at 934 Stratford Rd. Driver of vehicle 1 rear-ended a vehicle in front of him in the drive-through.

Report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the parking lot of a business at 601 South Pioneer Way. Driver of vehicle 1 hit a parked car when he backed out of the parking space.

Report of vandalism at a residence in the 1100 block of West Marina Drive. Subject threw a rock through the home’s window. Damage estimated at $250.

Report of possible Internet fraud, concerning a Moses Lake rental property on Craigslist. The case is still under investigation.

Report of two-vehicle accident at the intersection of East Broadway Avenue and South Alder Street. Driver of vehicle 1 was stopped at the stoplight when she was rear-ended by vehicle 2, described as a beige Cadillac Escalade. Vehicle 2 followed vehicle 1 for a few blocks, but didn’t stop.

Report of possible vandalism. Reporting party said she received a package addressed to her and opened it; a balloon popped out and sprayed glitter all over her workplace.

Report of attempted phone fraud. Reporting party said a caller claimed to be a government employee and demanded identification information.

Two children were placed with CPS. Mother was arrested, left children at a friend’s house with no supplies. The friend contacted family, who came and got the kids. Mother was released from jail but has not contacted the family or the children. Father is in Grant County Jail. Children needed medical attention, but family couldn’t provide it without authorization.

A 29-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail on an outstanding warrant. Subject allegedly was trying the door on a vacant residence in the 900 block of South Ironwood Drive, fled on foot and was taken into custody following Taser deployment.

Report of suspicious subject. Reporting party said an unknown man riding a bicycle and wearing a head lamp tried to get her to go to the park with him.

A 43-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

June 28

Report of possible vandalism at a residence in the 900 block of East Cherry Avenue. Reporting party said unknown suspects went into his back yard and started a fire.

Report of specialized mountain bike stolen from a home in the 1100 block of East Hill Avenue.

A male at the Gorge campground reportedly asked his neighbors to turn down their music and was punched in the face. He alleged security refused to do anything about it.

A man reportedly found an object that appeared to be a bomb. Officers determined that it was not.

A Jeep was reported stolen.

A man reported that trespassers on his property had run over his sprinklers and plugged up toilets.

A woman reported that she went to a location to pick up her daughter and a male subject told her her daughter wasn’t there and refused to let her in.

Two children were seen walking on a sidewalk, one in a diaper and the other with no underwear. The reporting party went to their residence and knocked at the door, but nobody answered.

A 20-year-old woman reportedly struck her mother and her father in the face.

Items were reported stolen from a moored boat.

A woman reported that her vehicle, which she had left parked beside the road, was broken into.

A male reported that his mother was kicking him out, hitting him and pushing him around.

A woman reported that a Rottweiler had gotten into her chicken coop and killed her chickens.

A physical altercation involving knives and guns was reported at the Sand Dunes.

A man reported that he had an argument with his girlfriend and she took their son out of his arms.

A woman reported that her husband came home and trashed the bedroom.

A woman reported that her ex texted her that their 1 1/2-year-old daughter was missing, and wouldn’t answer his phone after that.

A man reported subjects on the side of his residence who shouldn’t be there.

Unknown subjects were reported setting up to drag race,

A man reported that he got his daughter back and she had scratches on her.

A woman reported that her ex, against whom she has a restraining order, was texting her and her family.

A man reported hearing a domestic incident with verbal threats involving a gun and a knife.

A woman reported that her cousin tried to leave with the baby and the baby’s father didn’t want to let the baby go. The situation reportedly escalated to seven family members fighting in the front yard.

A woman reported that a female had stolen her dog and jewelry.

A man reported that he came home to find his TV and computer gone.

A man reported that his friend came to his house in the early hours of the morning bleeding from the face.

Joseph Vela, 29, of Moses Lake, was arrested for a GCDC warrant and a warrant out of Adams County.

Peter Cary, 39, of Puyallup, was booked for fourth-degree assault.

Jesse Charlton, 18, of Ephrata, was arrested for a probation violation.

Raul Sanchez, 23, of Moses Lake, was arrested for second-degree rape of a child and communication with a minor for immoral purposes.

Jonathan Stotts, 23, of Moses Lake, was arrested for fourth-degree assault.

Tracy Kissler, 43, of Quincy, was booked for first-degree burglary and fourth-degree assault.

Eric McLean, 37, of Ephrata, was arrested on a GCSC warrant.

Rusty Shumaker, 36, of Moses Lake, was booked for attempted residential burglary and a GCDC warrant.

June 27

Tyler Gladden, 21, Ephrata, was booked into the Grant County Jail on an outstanding Klickitat County warrant.

Steven Perez, 29, Quincy, was booked for physical control of a vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants.

Ruben Trevino, 45, Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Erika Pruneda, 26, Moses Lake, was booked for violation of a no-contact order, two outstanding Grant County District Court warrants for violation of a no-contact order, two outstanding warrants for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and an outstanding warrant for resisting arrest.

Jose Marin, 33, Quincy, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Dale Wynn, 18, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for obstructing a law enforcement officer, third-degree theft and aiding and abetting.

Kelly Nickell, 37, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for resisting arresting, violation of a no-contact order and making false statements to law enforcement.

Anthony Garcia Lalk, 20, Wenatchee, was booked for violating a temporary protection order and violating a no-contact order (domestic violence).
