MOSES LAKE — Three people were injured on Sunday after a semi-truck rear ended a pickup on Interstate 90.

About 6:20 p.m. Erika Ritchie, 41, of Moses Lake, was reportedly driving a 2004 Toyota pickup truck west on I-90 when she was reportedly rear-ended by a 2006 Peterbilt tractor and trailer driven by Phillip Borbridge, 35, of Deer Park, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Ritchie and her passengers, two boys, ages 9 and 14, were injured and taken by ambulance to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake. Borbridge was not injured.

Borbridge’s vehicle received reportable damage and was driven from the scene. Ritchie’s vehicle also sustained reportable damages and was towed from the scene. Borbridge was cited for following too close, according to the patrol.
