Fire destroys manufactured home near Soap Lake

A fire destroyed a single-wide manufactured home near Soap Lake early Saturday morning.

SOAP LAKE — No one was injured after a fire destroyed a manufactured home near Soap Lake about 6 a.m. Saturday.

Crews from Grant County Fire Districts 7 and 13, and the Ephrata Fire Department, responded to the fire at a single-wide manufactured home in the 16700 block of Road B.5 Northeast, about three miles southeast of Soap Lake, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

Crews were able to extinguish the fire, but the home was completely destroyed. A pickup truck near the manufactured home received fire-related damages.

There was no one home at the time of the fire and no reported injuries. The cause of the fire has not been determined. The incident is under investigation by the sheriff’s office and the Grant County Fire Marshal.
