Tom Taylor is the right choice to fill the Grant County Board of Commissioners, District 2 position. Tom has had a long career of service to our country and community. He is a retired 24-year U.S. Army veteran and served our community for 25 years with the Moses Lake Fire Department, 10 of those years as chief.

The roles and duties of a county commissioner are numerous and varied. Commissioners must understand each level of their responsibility to effectively lead a county. Tom has been meeting with representatives from the different departments within the county as well as with stakeholders so that he is able to recognize the needs and competing interests – leading to decision making that will be positive for the citizens of Grant County today and into the future.

Tom’s career focused on public safety, his highest priority as a candidate for county commissioner. Tom is committed to working with law enforcement, the prosecutor’s office and public safety agencies across the county to improve the quality of life for Grant County citizens.
