NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in Grant County, State

The registration deadline for online registrations, mail-in registrations and transfers is July 5, 2016. Any qualified elector who is not registered to vote in the State of Washington may register to vote in person at the Auditor's office up to and including July 25, 2016.
You can register or obtain registration forms at the County Auditor's office, on our website at; www.grantcountywa.gov, select Elections and then MyVote and the Department of Licensing.
The Grant County Election Office, 35 C St NW, Room 203, at the County Courthouse, is where voters may obtain replacement ballots, drop off voted ballots, or obtain provisional ballots. Also available to the public is the DAU's or Disability Access Units, which provide voters with disabilities an equal opportunity to vote independently and privately. Voters needing additional information or assistance with voter registration forms or voting, may call (509) 754-2011, Ext. 2777, 2743 & 2793.
You may bring your voted ballot in person to the Grant County Election Office, Room 203, at the County Courthouse during regular business hours; Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. On Election Day, August 2, 2016 the hours will be 7:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M.
The following designated drive-up ballot drop site locations available beginning July 14th, 2016 through August 2nd, 2016 at 8:00 P.M.:
Grant County Courthouse, Public Parking, Lot #A, Ephrata
Moses Lake City Hall, 321 S Balsam St., Moses Lake
Quincy Public Library, 208 Central Ave S, Quincy
Grant County PUD, 555 Grand Coulee Ave., Grand Coulee
Fire District #10 Fire Hall, 588 Camelia St., Royal City
Ballots require sufficient first class postage and must be postmarked by the day of election. Check with your local Post Office for deadlines to have your ballot postmarked properly. No stamp is needed for drop box locations. All drop boxes will be sealed at 8:00 P.M. on Election Day.

The following public meetings will be held in conjunction with the processing and tabulation of election returns for the Primary Election to be held on August 2, 2016, in Grant County, Washington. The times and locations and purpose of each meeting are;
July 18, 2016 - August 16, 2016 10:00A.M. -5:00P.M. (Extended Hours, if necessary); Processing of Mail Ballots, checking signatures, open and processing incoming ballots-Grant County Election Dept. Room 203, Courthouse, Ephrata, WA.
August 11, 2016 10:00 A.M. Pre-Certification to determine the status of any provisional or challenged ballots-Election Dept. - Room 203, Courthouse, Ephrata, WA
August 16, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. to canvass the votes cast and to certify the election-Grant County Election Dept. Room 203, Courthouse, Ephrata, WA
