June 15

A man was spotted entering a fenced yard in the 500 block of North Dune Road and leaving the yard carrying an unknown item. The man was spotted by an officer and fled on foot. He was taken into custody on Sunburst Court and police found his discarded backpack containing a box of cookies in a field. The suspect admitted to entering the Dune Road yard and stealing the cookies out of a fridge.

A woman reported being assaulted at a business in the 600 block of North Stratford Road on June 14. Video surveillance did not show the woman or the alleged suspect and the store clerk did not recall any disturbance involving the woman or suspect. The woman reportedly has a history of making false claims against the male suspect.

Report of a man doing drugs at a business on North Stratford. The man admitted to having a drug problem and gave police permission to search his car. Police found heroin in the man’s car and he was arrested.

Report of a man lingering at a residence in the 700 block of Kennedy Place. The man was gone when police arrived at the scene.

A man reported getting into an argument with a woman because she didn’t want him to leave until he gave her back some items. The woman admitted to blocking a door so the reporting party couldn’t leave.

A woman reported two boys gave her 7-year-old son a Russian flag and Nazi sign while he was playing. Officers searched the area, but could not locate the two boys.

Report of a blue tooth speaker and paperwork stolen out of a vehicle in the 4400 block of West Prichard Road.

A man reported a suspicious man was crying on his porch and saying he was being chased in the 600 block of North Crestview Drive. The man couldn’t tell police what exactly was going on and was given a courtesy ride to a bus stop.

A mooring buoy was reported stolen.

An abandoned vehicle with broken windows and punched-out ignition was reported sitting in the middle of the road.

Two sisters, 18 and 19 years old, reportedly got into a fight.

Four juveniles were reported sitting in a vehicle smoking marijuana.

A wind machine was reported stolen from an orchard.

A woman reported gas cans stolen.

A woman reported that a male was bothering people at her residence, knocking on the door and looking for her father, who was not present.

A man reported somebody was in his motor home.

A burglary was reported in which unknown subjects apparently shot out a back window and were siphoning gas out of a boat. The reporting party further advised that the subjects were flicking lighters and trying to burn the location down.

A woman reported that her dog was barking at an unknown subject by her trailer.

Sheep were reported in the road.

A medical office reported a subject sleeping next to its building.

Five dogs were reported running at large.

A woman reported receiving phone messages threatening to kill her or her family.

A man reported that juveniles had written on his truck.

A woman reported that her neighbors were harassing her.

A male with a flashlight was reported looking through doors and windows of an unoccupied house.

June 15

Ryan Bone, 39, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on a Department of Corrections secretary’s warrant.

Tomas Ramirez, 31, of Moses Lake, was arrested fourth-degree assault.

Lisa Valdez, 38, of Ephrata, was arrested for second-degree trespassing.
