A man reported some decorative solar powered yard lights were stolen out of his backyard in the 3900 block of West Sandy Street and thrown onto his gravel driveway, damaging a few of them in the process.

Report of a stereo stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of East Inglewood Drive.

Report of some dogs in a van with the windows rolled down about 6 inches in the 700 block of North Stratford Road. The dogs did not seem to be in distress when approached by a officer.

A woman was arrested for fourth-degree assault after grabbing a girl by the hair and pulling her to the ground. The victim received scratch marks on her right hand and wrist.

Report of a disgruntled customer throwing a clipboard at a wall inside of a business in the 1000 block of West Broadway Avenue. The business requested the male be trespassed from the business when he is contacted again.

Police contacted a man in the area of North Crestview Drive and West Valley Road who was knocking on doors and looking for work. The man was told to go to Work Source to find employment or ask friends.

A manager of a fast food restaurant in the 700 block of North Stratford Road reported witnessing a man recover a drinking cup from the trash and thought he was going to steal soda. The man said he was practicing good recycling habits and paid for all the items he took from the trash.

A woman reported losing her purse in a taxi cab Sunday night.

A woman told police her cats were missing from her residence in the 2200 block of West Lakeside Drive. The woman stated her neighbors have experienced problems with her cats on their property in the past and called her continuously. The woman was advised to go to the courts and receive an anti-harassment order.

Report of two vehicles entered by an unknown subject in the 1800 block of South Eastlake Drive. Nothing was stolen from the vehicles, which was left unlocked.

A man was stopped after driving off a road at a high rate of speed. The man had a stolen gun and cocaine. The suspect was booked into the Grant County Jail.
