and NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE OF APPEAL. An appeal was submitted by Pat & Shawna Munyan, on April 5, 2016 relating to an ADMINISTRATIVE INTERPRETATION PURSUANT TO CMC 11.10.110 and STATEMENT OF RESTRICTIONS PURSUANT TO RCW 35A.21.280, issued by the City of Connell on March 28, 2016.

Parcel No. 105-040-114, comprising 27.09 acres

Site Location: Within City of Connell; Section 4, T13N, R32E, WM, adjoining and southerly of SR-260

Zoning: Ag (Agricultural) District

Comprehensive Plan: Residential

Issue: Pigeon farming conditions and/or restrictions

Procedures: 1) Type IV: Administrative Review, as per Connell Municipal Code (CMC) 16A

2) Appeal Hearing, as per CMC 16A.08

3) Hearing Examiner Rules, as per CMC 11.30

NOTICE OF HEARING. Notice is hereby given that the Hearing Examiner of the City of Connell will conduct an OPEN RECORD HEARING on Thursday, June 30th at 3:00 p.m., or shortly thereafter, in the Connell City Hall located at 104 E. Adams Street, Connell, Washington in accordance with Connell Municipal Code 16A.08. All interested persons may appear and provide testimony.

Information may be examined or copies obtained at the City Hall between business hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Written comments may be mailed or hand delivered to City of Connell, 104 E. Adams, P.O. Box 1200, Connell, WA 99326, no later than June 27th at 5:00 p.m.

Any person may comment on the appeal, receive notice of and participate in any hearings, and request a copy of the decision once made. Additional information may be obtained by contacting Jed Crowther, City Administrator at (509) 234-2701.

In accordance with CMC 11.30, Hearing Examiner will issue a decision within ten working days after the public hearing to affirm, reverse, or remand the Administrative Interpretation and Statement of Restrictions, as per CMC 16A.08.040(a).

Type IV review of administrative code interpretations made by the hearing examiner are subject only to an appeal to Franklin County superior court pursuant to Chapter 36.70C RCW, as per CMC 16A.08.050.
