Meal programs feed kids during summer

Moses Lake — The Boys and Girls Club of Moses Lake and the Warden School District announced they will be offering meals at no charge for kids who need it during the summer.

Warden’s lunches will be offered at the school district cafeteria, 101 W. Beck Way, from June 21 to Aug. 4 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. For more information, contact Jill Robertson at 509-349-2366, ext. 5.

The Boys and Girls Club will offer lunch at the following times and locations:

McGraw Clubhouse, 425 N. Paxson Dr., June 20-Aug. 12. Lunch will be served from 1 to 1:30 p.m. and snack from 4 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

North Elementary, 1200 W. Craig St., June 20-Aug. 12. Lunch will be served from 12 to 12:30 p.m. and snack from 4 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

McCosh Park, 401 W. Fourth Ave. June 20-July 22. Lunch will be served from 12 to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Frontier Middle School, 517 W. Third Ave., July 25-Aug. 12. Lunch will be served from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.

Moses Lake High School, 803 E. Sharon Ave., June 20-July 28. Breakfast will be served from 6:55 to 7:25 a.m. and lunch from 12 to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Columbia Basin Technical Skills Center, 900 E. Yonezawa, June 20-July 1. Snack will be served from 10 to 10:30 a.m. and lunch from 12 to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Midway Elementary, 520 S. C St., June 27-Aug. 4. Breakfast will be served from 8 to 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:40 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Larson Heights Elementary, 700 Lindberg Lane, June 27-Aug. 4. Breakfast will be served from 8:30 to 9 a.m. and lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Mondays only.

The meals are open to all children ages 2-18, and club membership is not necessary. Meals must be eaten on site and may not be shared with adults. For more information call 509-764-9694.
