| June 14, 2016 1:00 PM

July 22, 1956 – June 10, 2016

On Friday, June 10, 2016 Rodolfo “Rudy” G. Ramirez II, 59, a lifelong resident of Moses Lake, in his home surrounded with love by family and friends, went to be with his Father in Heaven.

Rudy was born July 22, 1956 in Moses Lake, Wash. to his parents Rodolfo C. and Lucy G. Ramirez. Although taken too soon, Rudy lived a wonderful and fulfilled life. Faith, family and friends were dear to his heart. To Rudy, next to God, family and friends were the most important things in life.

On Aug. 31, 2013 Rudy met the love of his life, Alma, at a dance, which was one of Rudy’s favorite pastimes. With friends and family to celebrate their union, they were wed on Oct. 25, 2014.

A true master of his craft, Rudy spent 40-plus years in the construction industry. He worked on various reputable projects within the United States. Even while traveling and working on different projects Rudy was always willing to help family or friends whenever he was back home.

Rudy enjoyed the natural beauty all around us, he loved to see it all through traveling. Rudy loved to sightsee and would frequently take road trips to enjoy all that the open road had to offer. Some of his family’s most cherished memories stem from travels with Rudy.

Rudy was the most gracious host. He loved having family and friends in his home. He was an entertainer at heart — if you were comfortable he was happy. One of his favorite pastimes was cooking and sharing his love through food, music, and warmth.

Rudy will be forever remembered by his infectious smile, positive outlook on life, and his ability to always make you feel welcome. To Rudy, life was a precious gift from God, and he made life for him and all those around him a wonderful experience. Like his parents, the lessons of faith, love, and happiness he lived and taught will be passed through all of the lives he touched.

He is survived by his wife, Alma Ramirez; children, Jessica Bertholf (Jake), Rudy Ramirez III, and Roland Ramirez; siblings, Trina Alfaro (Luis), Mary Moncada (Jerry), Gloria Valdez (Mike), Chris Koon (Randy), Pat Ramirez, Ruben Ramirez, and Richard Ramirez (Robyn). Rudy was preceded in death by his brother Christopher Ramirez and Parents, Rodolfo C. And Lucy G. Ramirez.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Kayser’s Chapel. Holy Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Guarding Angels Cemetery, 2595 Road L NE, Moses Lake.
