Protests should be peaceful and law-abiding

Freedom to protest doesn’t grant anyone the right to break the law and engage in violence. People who break the law and engage in violence are not peaceful proterters; they’re criminals who need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. When I saw these protesters burning the American flag, that broke my heart. People have died and sacrificed for that flag. It’s a shame and disgrace to burn and disrespect our flag. As a nation we need to start back obeying and respecting the law. The best way for anyone to protest is to vote and obey the law.
