July 25, 1941 – June 4, 2016

Michael (Mike) Glen Warner, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, headed for the pearly gates surrounded by his loving family, at home in Yakima, Wash. on June 4, 2016.

Mike was born in Salina, Kansas on July 25, 1941 to Lewis Glen and Jeanne Warner and had one older brother, Douglas Eugene Warner. He attended high schools in Santa Barbara, Calif. and Hawaii, and graduated in Key West, Fla.

Mike met his lifelong love, Gay Simmons, whom he married Oct. 19, 1963, and had two adored daughters, Mori Lynn and Heather Michelle.

Mike worked many years in sales, at which he was always top of his game. He went on to own his construction company, S & W Construction, and had a passion for helping others with their projects. He enjoyed tennis, handball, and racquetball in his earlier years, and never tired of schooling everyone in the game of pool.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Jeanne, and his brother Doug.

Mike’s legacy lives on through his wife of 52 years, Gay, daughter Mori (Darvin) Ecklund and daughter Heather (Tony) Ramos and grandchildren Alexa Lynn Ecklund and Anthony Michael Ramos, along with brothers- and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews who were all the center of his world. We will all miss him like crazy, but thank God for all of the wonderful memories.

Services and Celebration of Mike’s life to be held on June 25, 2016 at Apple Tree Resort, 8804 Occidental Rd., Yakima, Wash. at 2 p.m.
