Report of items stolen from a shed at a residence in the 600 block of South Pacific Street.

Report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at North Stratford Road and West Valley Road. Vehicle 2 was stopped at a traffic light; driver of vehicle 1 didn’t stop in time and rear-ended vehicle 2. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for following too closely.

Report of possible theft from a business at 1034 North Stratford Rd. Stolen merchandise was estimated at $440.

Report of graffiti inside the bathrooms at McCosh Park.

Report of stolen wallet while the victim was at a bus stop in the 1300 block of South Pioneer Way. Wallet contained identification cards.

Report of phone stolen at Moses Lake High School. Phone’s value was estimated at $400.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at East Ninth Avenue and South Division Street. Vehicle 1 and vehicle 2 were southbound on Division Avenue when a vehicle turning onto Division Street caused vehicle 2 to slow abruptly. Vehicle 2 was rear-ended by vehicle 1. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for following too closely.

Report of harassment in the 1700 block of West Peninsula Drive. Family members searching for a runaway juvenile were watching a house where the juvenile might be staying. The subject, a resident of the house, came out holding a pair of gardening shears and yelling obscenities. The case is under investigation.

Report of vehicle prowl in the 1200 block of South Evergreen Drive. Victim said unknown suspect broke into his vehicle sometime between 4 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 p.m. Monday. A pair of sunglasses and about $3 in change were stolen.

A 32-year-old woman was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail on an outstanding warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

June 7

A 15-year-old girl was cited for driving without a valid driver’s license and operating a vehicle without headlights. She was released to her mother, who said the girl didn’t have permission to use the vehicle.

A male was reportedly smoking marijuana when he was supposed to be watching his 5-year-old sister.

A small colt was reported wandering loose in a cornfield.

A man reported that his house had been broken into.

A woman reported her vehicle stolen.

Damage was reported to mailboxes.

A man reported that his mail was tampered with.

A woman reported that her sons threatened to kill her.

A man reported that an unoccupied vehicle he didn’t recognize was parked by his back gate.

Keys were found at Larson Heights Elementary School.

A man reported that his female neighbor was sitting outside naked.

A man called to report that his uncle was going crazy and trying to fight with his aunt.

A woman reported that her son was picked up the day before by friends and had not returned.

A vehicle reportedly crashed into an espresso stand.

A washer and dryer were reported sitting in the middle of the road.

A woman reported that her child’s father did not show up to pick up the child for visitation.

A female subject was reported with her vehicle parked near a canal. All the doors of the vehicle were open and a child was sitting on the hood.

A woman reported that her ex, against whom she had a restraining order, kept calling and harassing her and her family. The reporting party advised officers that if they didn’t do anything she would “take it into her own hands.”

May 7

A woman reported that she heard her daughter and her boyfriend yelling at someone. The two were saying things like they had “stabbed her,” and “turn her invisible.”

A horse was reported walking down the middle of the road.

A male subject was spotted with a slim jim at a vacant house.

Ismael Ortiz, Jr., 25, Moses Lake, was booked for rendering criminal assistance and two counts of witness intimidation.

Kolby Burck, 22, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections order.

Jordan Tebow. 32, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding WDOC warrant.

Travis Hintz, 32, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding WDOC warrant.

Sherri Smith, 59, Soap Lake, was booked on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for disturbing an archaeological site.

Susan Cox, 44, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Jennifer Hodgkinson, 32, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Victoria Martinez, 21, Quincy, was booked on an outstanding WDOC warrant for probation violation.

Jose Rodriguez, 25, Moses Lake, was booked for second-degree murder, unlawful possession of a firearm and tampering with a witness.
