MAIN CANAL POWER PLANT

REHABILITATION OF INTAKE GATES

COLUMBIA BASIN HYDROPOWER

Bidders are invited to submit sealed bids for the Rehabilitation of Intake Gates at the Main Canal Power Plant in Coulee City, Washington. The Work covers turnkey removal, rehabilitation, and reinstallation of two (2) intake wheel gates as well as rehabilitation of the associated hydraulic gate actuation systems.

Rehabilitation of the intake gates will involve new gate seals, new wheel bearings, sandblasting, painting, structural inspection and repairs. Hydraulic system rehabilitation will involve rebuilding the gate actuation cylinders, new piping, new valves, and drawings.

Bids shall be on a lump sum basis in U.S. dollars.

A Notice of Award will be issued on or about Aug 24, 2016. All Work is to be performed November 1, 2016 through February 15, 2017.

Columbia Basin Hydropower (hereinafter referred to as CBHP), will receive sealed bids until 11:00 AM local time on Aug 11, 2016 at the CBHP office, 457 1st Avenue NW, Ephrata, Washington 98823. Bids will then and there be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the time of announced opening will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.

A site visit will begin at the Main Canal Power Plant, in Coulee City, Washington on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 1:00PM.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in certified or cashier’s check or bid bond on CBHP form and in an amount equal to 5% of such bid.

CBHP reserves the right to waive any irregularities as informalities and to reject any and all bids.
