ROYAL CITY – Shawn Vetterick continued to chase, and Pete Christensen continued to elude in Royal Golf Association Thursday Night Mens League week 7 play.

Actually, Christensen remained atop the player point standings for the third straight week by stretching his lead a little. He led Vetterick 43.00-42.50 after six weeks. After seven weeks, the lead was 49.50-48.50

The best gross score of the week was turned in by Patrick Dorsing – again – this time with 40. Vetterick, Andrew Perkins and Josh Scroggins shot 41.

Scroggins had a best low net of 35 and remains close in the PP chase with 44.00.
