May 27

Report of a vehicle prowl in the 900 block of Northwest Sunburst Court. Victim said the driver’s door window of his vehicle was damaged and his GPS stolen. Damage and property loss estimated at $400.

Report of window panes shot with a BB gun at a business at 525 North Stratford Rd. The case is still under investigation.

A 27-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant.

Report of a two-vehicle, minor injury accident at the intersection of South Ash Street and West Broadway Avenue. Driver of vehicle 1 rear-ended vehicle 2 when driver of vehicle 2 stopped for a red light. Driver of vehicle 1 received a cut at the forehead and was treated at the scene. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for following too close.

Report of bicycle stolen from a residence in the 800 block of South Tyler Court. Bike was found about 100 feet from the residence.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of West Third Avenue and West Ivy Street. Driver of vehicle 1 was crossing Third Avenue when she was hit by a vehicle making a left turn from Ivy Street.

A 25-year-old woman was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail on an outstanding warrant after she was reportedly walking in and out of traffic on SR 17 near North Stratford Road.

Report of a broken window on a car parked at a business at 1715 West Broadway Ave.

A 36-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding WDOC warrant.

Report of credit card fraud. Business delivered $2,000 worth of furniture to a home in December and in April found out the credit card used in the purchase was stolen. The case is still under investigation.

Report of theft from a residence in the 2200 block of West Lakeside Drive. Victim said he and his family were spending time at their summer home and found two lifts and control boxes missing, Items were valued at about $10,000.

A 40-year-old man was arrested for first-degree trespassing.

Report of a vehicle prowl at a church in the 400 block of South Balsam Street. Sometime between 5 and 5:30 p.m. unknown suspects stole lawn maintenance equipment from the back of a vehicle. Equipment value estimated at $600.

Report of bicycle stolen from a residence in the 1300 block of South Monroe Street. Victim said the thieves cut the lock and stole the bike sometime overnight. Bike is valued at about $400.

A 26-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and an outstanding out-of-county warrant.

A 24-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for second-degree malicious mischief.

May 28

A 25-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for violation of a protection order and an outstanding warrant for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Report of vehicle prowl in the 200 block of East Ninth Avenue. Victim said she heard her car alarm go off and found somebody had broken a window and stolen an empty purse and a video game.

A juvenile male, no age given, was arrested and booked into Grant County Juvenile for second-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence).

A silver mountain bike was recovered from the alley in the 700 block of South Wanapum Drive.

Micargi Dragon mountain bike recovered in the 600 block of South Chestnut Street.

A 28-year-old man was cited for third-degree theft after he attempted to steal about $52 in merchandise from a business at 601 South Pioneer Way.

Report of theft from a residence in the 1000 block of West Columbia Avenue. Victim said a lawn mower was taken from her front yard.

A 33-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Report of a one-vehicle, hit and run accident at the intersection of SR 17 and East Broadway Ave. Unknown driver was southbound on SR 17, attempted to make a right turn onto East Broadway Avenue and drove over the curb, hitting a fence and causing an estimated $1,500 damage. Driver fled the scene.

Report of hit and run accident in the parking lot at 401 West Fourth Ave. Reporting party said he went to the carnival for a few hours and discovered his car had been hit when he returned to his vehicle.

A 38-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for possession of controlled substances and two outstanding warrants.

Report of attempted burglary in the 700 block of South Margaret Street. Victim said someone tried to enter the residence and had removed a neighbor’s window screen.

A 22-year-old woman was cited for DUI, no insurance and speeding. Her vehicle was towed.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Report of a verbal dispute between alleged rival gang members at 517 West Third Avenue. A 22-year-old man was arrested for criminal mischief. A 23-year-old man was arrested for criminal mischief, possession of a stolen firearm, and unlawful possession of a firearm. A 22-year-old woman and 22-year-old man were arrested on charges of criminal mischief.

Report of a woman running down the road with blood on her face near Wheeler Road. She was picked up by subjects driving by and when contacted by police, said the suspect beat her up because she was trying to break up with him. The suspect, a 38-year-old man, allegedly punched the victim in the face and head repeatedly and choked her. She was transported to Samaritan Hospital where she was found to have a broken nose. The suspect fled the scene in an older blue Ford pickup truck. Suspect was charged with second-degree assault (domestic violence).

A 44-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct.

Report of tires slashed on a vehicle parked in the park-and-ride lot at the off ramp of SR 17 and I-90. Case is under investigation.

May 29

A 24-year-old man was cited for DUI and speeding. His vehicle was towed.

Report of a vehicle stolen from a party in the 400 block of West Ridge Road. An 18-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for theft of a motor vehicle, second-degree theft, DUI, driving without a valid driver’s license and an outstanding warrant. A 17-year-old man was arrested for theft of a motor vehicle, second-degree theft and minor in possession.

A 22-year-old man was cited for third-degree theft after he allegedly shoplifted items from a business at 500 South Pioneer Way.

Report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 3600 block of East Broadway Avenue. Driver of vehicle 2 was stopped at a traffic light with vehicle 1 behind him. Driver of vehicle 1 said his foot slipped off the brake, causing him to rear-end vehicle 2.

Report of a burglary in the 2600 block of West Peninsula Drive. Thieves stole jewelry and consumer electronics, with an estimated value of more than $7,000.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail on a confirmed warrant.

Report of threats at a business at 1020 North Stratford Rd. Victim said she discovered a window was broken on her vehicle and found a note on her windshield making a threat against an ex-boyfriend. Damage to the car was estimated at about $50.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Report of theft at a residence in the 1400 block of South Cougar Drive. Victim said two packages were stolen off her porch.

Report of attempted burglary at a business at 530 West Valley Road. The alarm was activated on the business’s front door, but no signs of forced entry.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at a business at 205 South Pioneer Way. Driver of vehicle 1 was backing out of parking spot and ran into a parked car.

Report of assault in the 1600 block of West Broadway Avenue. Victim said he was assaulted by a subject and two friends.

May 30

A 39-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence).

Report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of South Grand Drive and East Alderwood Drive. Driver of vehicle 1 was westbound on Grand Drive when he hit vehicle 2, northbound on Alderwood.

Report of hit and run accident at a business at 1201 South Pioneer Way. Vehicle 2 was parked in the parking lot was struck by an unknown driver.

Report of a weapon displayed along Patton Boulevard. A 27-year-old man was arrested for vehicle prowl, theft, brandishing a weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm. A 22-year-old man was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm and on an outstanding WDOC warrant. A 25-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding WDOC warrant.

Report of attempted burglary in the 3000 block of West Lakeside Drive. Reporting party said outside basement door was forced open, but basement doesn’t connect to the rest of the residence.

Report of assault at McCosh Park. Suspects were described as two Hispanic juvenile males, one wearing royal blue shirt and jeans, second wearing black shirt and khaki shorts.

Juan Medrano, 52, Quincy, was booked on charges of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Mark Stephens, 27, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant.

Amel Dalluge, 36, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding WCOC warrant.

David Hagar, 43, Moses Lake, was booked for third-degree malicious mischief, and outstanding Grant County Superior Court warrants for taking a motor vehicle without permission, third-degree theft and third-degree driving without a valid driver’s license.

Ashley Sparks, 23, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for third-degree theft.

Robert Cutts, 26, Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence), interfering with the reporting of domestic violence and an outstanding Benton County warrant for DUI.

Shelby Weaselhead, 18, Coulee Dam, was booked on outstanding GCSC warrants for possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine and minor in possession of marijuana (less than 40 grams).

Angel Baeza, 22, Othello, was booked for criminal mischief with a deadly weapon.
