Woman airlifted after rollover near Soap Lake

SOAP LAKE — A Darrington woman was airlifted to Confluence Health in Wenatchee after the car she was riding in rolled over about nine miles north of Soap Lake Saturday morning.

Kathy Gray, 60, was a passenger in a car towing a travel trailer, driven by Cheryl Sicklovan, 61, Arlington, according to press release from the Washington State Patrol. Sicklovan was driving south on SR 17 about 7 a.m. when she lost control and overcorrected. She ran off the road to the right and rolled down an embankment

Sicklovan was not injured. She was cited for driving too fast for the conditions.
