July 27

A 53-year-old man was booked on an outstanding warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Report of theft from a business at 601 South Pioneer Way. Unidentified male suspect took two ice cream cakes and possibly some liquor and fled on foot.

Report of attempted fraud. Reporting party said he received an email asking for money from a person he knew, but when he called the person, he denied requesting the money. The account appears to have been hacked.

Report of hit and run accident in the parking lot at 815 North Stratford Rd. Unknown vehicle struck a parked car and left the scene.

A 58-year-old man was booked for third-degree assault, obstructing a law enforcement officer and on an outstanding warrant.

Report of vandalism in the 500 block of North Florida Drive. Reporting party said unknown suspect cut his fuel line and took an auxiliary fuel tank.

July 28

Stolen car recovered. Officer contacted the vehicle and found a 15-year-old boy with an outstanding felony warrant inside. The registered owner was contacted and confirmed the car was stolen. The juvenile was arrested for possession of a stolen motor vehicle, possession of marijuana and an outstanding felony warrant.

A business reported that somebody was using its dumpster.

A man reported that the kids from next door were locked in a house.

Harassing phone calls purporting to be from the Grant County Sheriff’s Office were reported.

A man reported that his neighbors had put their garbage cans in the roadway.

A man reported that he had caught somebody breaking into his parents’ residence.

A suspicious vehicle without license plates was reported driving slowly through a neighborhood.

A male reported that his phone had been stolen by a subject in a black Honda.

July 27

Alexi Mendez, 19, Othello, was booked into the Grant County Jail on outstanding Grant County District Court warrants for third-degree driving with a suspended license and minor remaining in an off-limits area in a place of business.

Dahndre Westwood, 18, Moses Lake, was booked on outstanding Grant County Superior Court juvenile warrants for first-degree rape, two warrants for second-degree assault, second degree burglary, third-degree assault and criminal attempt.

Joseph Coburn, 53, Moses Lake, was booked for an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Robert Cutts, 26, Moses Lake, was booked for an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant.

Carlos Lopez, 25, Quincy, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Justin Brittain, 29, Kennewick, was booked on a WDOC arrest and detention order.

David Louie, Jr., Electric City, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license and failing to transfer title within 45 days.

Carlos Lopez, 25, Quincy, was booked for resisting arrest and on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Juan Rocha, 58, Moses Lake, was arrested for third-degree assault and obstructing a law enforcement officer.

Christopher Taylor, 42, Ephrata, was booked on a GCDC warrant.

Rodney Ezell, 28, Quincy, was booked on violation of a protection order, possession of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance.

Anthony Kelly, 32, Electric City, was arrested and booked on a GCSC warrant for failure to appear.

Pedro Flores Perez, 31, Quincy, was arrested and booked on two GCDC warrants.

Ernesto Gomez, 26, Pasco, was arrested and booked on an outstanding warrant from Franklin County.

Michael Thrasher, 49, Moses Lake, was arrested on a GCDC warrant for failure to appear.
