Maria Angelita Meza

December 17, 1941 – July 26, 2016

Maria Angelita (Jela) Meza reunited with her beloved daughter, Margarita Beliz, and son, Jesus Meza, on July 26, 2016 at the age of 74, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her adored husband of 59 years, Valentin. She is also survived by her children Sylvia Rocha, Velma and Juan De Leon, Valentin Jr. and Mary Meza, Elizabeth and Donald Le Bleu; siblings Alicia Llamas, Maria De Jesus, Rosalinda Luis, Paqual Briones, Florentina Jimenez, Jose Briones; 26 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

She had an enormous heart and opened her home to many family and friends. She was full of life and enjoyed dancing. Her passions were her grandchildren, sewing, crocheting with granddaughters, planting roses, reading, watching old movies, and loved cooking for anyone and everyone. She is a retired home caregiver of many years of compassionate service. She will be greatly missed by numerous siblings, nieces and nephews, godchildren and friends, and longtime best friend, Gloria Moncada.

Rosary will be held at 12 noon followed by funeral Mass on Friday July 29, 2016 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 200 N. Dale Rd., Moses Lake. Interment and final blessing to follow at Pioneer Memorial Garden, 14403 Rd 2 NE, Moses Lake.
