Report of marijuana pipe found on the grounds of Peninsula Elementary School, 2406 West Texas St.

Report of attempted car theft in the 1100 block of North Grape Drive. Unknown suspect ripped open and damaged the steering column.

Report of vandalism in the 400 block of East Sharon Avenue. Unknown suspect detonated fireworks in the victim’s mailbox.

Report of vehicle prowl in the 1100 block of Grape Drive sometime Sunday or Monday. Unknown suspects took a electronic equipment and consumer electronics, estimated value $700.

A 47-year-old man was arrested for outstanding warrants after a report of a possible vehicle prowl in progress.

A 21-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and a 19-year-old woman was charged with a vehicle prowl after a domestic dispute.

Report of possible vehicle prowl in the 1200 block of Skyline Drive. A juvenile was contacted, and said he was playing a game with other juveniles, where each player is attempting to reach a destination on foot without being spotted by other players. Reporting parties said they knew about the game and didn’t realize the juvenile was playing it.

A 22-year-old woman was arrested for third-degree driving with a suspended license and two outstanding warrants.

A 23-year-old man was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle.


Ephrata Police Department

July 26

A business reported a subject caught on video going through the dumpster and leaving a mess. The reporting party requested that the subject be permanently trespassed.

A woman reported that her purse had been stolen and fraudulent purchases made with her identity.

A man reported that unknown subjects had stolen a small child’s bicycle sometime during the day.

July 26

A man reported his laptop stolen during a concert.

A boat canopy was reported stolen.

A man reported the theft of two motorcycles.

A man reported that while he was trying to move out, a male subject shoved him.

A woman reported two strange vehicles driving around very slowly.

A man reported that his son had run away.

A hit-and-run was reported in which the vehicle took out a tree, a fence and a telephone box and went about 200 feet off the road.

A woman reported that her son broke into her room.

A male subject was reported siphoning fuel from a vehicle.

Juveniles were reported jumping off a bridge into the water.


Grant County Jail

July 26

Justin Korda, 34, Renton, was booked into the Grant County Jail for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Nathaniel Shane, 22, Moses Lake, was booked for possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

James Tudor, 21, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Marlea Moreno, 22, Moses Lake, was booked on three outstanding GCDC warrants for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Randall West, 32, Issaquah, was booked for possession of a stolen vehicle and second-degree trespassing.

Eric Deane, 52, Moses Lake, was booked on a Washington Department of Corrections warrant for probation violation.
