Moses Lake Police Department

July 21

A man reported he set a baseball bag down next to his vehicle in the 400 block of West Northshore Drive and went on a walk. The man said when he returned the bag was missing.

Report of a white SUV possibly being driven erratically in the area of South Pioneer Way and East Wheeler Road. Police could not locate the vehicle.

A man who had been previously trespassed from Walmart was spotted inside the store. The man was contacted, advised to leave and told of pending criminal trespassing charges against him.

A man reportedly struck a railroad arm at a crossing in the 3100 block of Road N Northeast and fled the scene. The man was contacted and admitting to striking the arm. He was cited for hit-and-run, driving without identification and failure to obey a railroad sign.

A employee at a business in the 3800 block of East Broadway Avenue reported a subject dropped off six batteries at the business that appeared to be stolen.

Officers assisted U.S. Marshals in arresting a wanted subject in the area of West Broadway Avenue and South Interlake Road.

Report of a cell phone stolen out of a vehicle on East Nelson Road.

Report of a remote control car, a GPS and a bag of tobacco stolen out of a vehicle in the 200 block of East Ninth Avenue. The remote control car and GPS were found in a nearby field.

A woman with an injured ankle was seen crawling in the 600 block of West Fourth Avenue to get help to call an ambulance. The Moses Lake Fire Department arrived at the scene and transported the woman to Samaritan Hospital.


Grant County Sheriff’s Office

July 21

A man reported that his vehicle was unlocked when he went out to it in the morning. He further reported that the key fob had been stolen in a previous burglary.

A medical clinic requested that a patient be removed from the premises. She had come in demanding to be seen, and when she was told they wouldn’t be able to see her, she created a scene.

A car with no license place and a motor home were reported parked illegally.

A man reported his shed had been broken into.

A jet ski was reported found next to a dumpster.

A man reported that he purchased items from Amazon which he never received although Amazon had taken his money.

A woman reported that a man knocked on her door and asked weird questions. She advised officers that he had been doing the same thing around the neighborhood.

A male subject was reported walking around the Base area with a pistol in his hand.

A cow was reported in the roadway.


Grant County Jail

July 21

Suyedid Vargas, 26, of East Wenatchee, was arrested and booked on a Grant County District Court warrant.

William Plourde, 29, of Spokane, was arrested and booked on a warrant out of Spokane County.

Jeremy Tracy, 37, a transient, was booked for felon in possession of a firearm, making false statements, a Department of Corrections warrant and a Grant County Superior Court warrant.

Marilou Martinez, 27, of Othello, was booked on two court orders amending original conditions.

Angela Brumley, 33, of Ephrata, was booked on a DOC arrest and detention order.
