WINONA LIFT STATION PROJECT – 2016

Moses Lake, Washington

Sealed bids will be received at Civic Center Annex, 321 South Balsam, (P. O. Box 1579),

Moses Lake, Washington 98837 until AUGUST 17, 2016; 2:00 PM, for the above-

named improvement. Said bids will be opened and publicly read at that time. All

bids shall be received before said opening time in sealed envelopes with WINONA LIFT

STATION PROJECT – 2016 marked plainly thereon.

All bids shall be accompanied by a deposit in the form of a postal money order,

cashier's check, or bond in an amount equal to 5 percent of the maximum total

amount of the bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract or furnish

a satisfactory contract bond within the time stated in the specifications, the deposit shall be

forfeited to the City.

Plans and specifications shall be obtained at the Civic Center Annex at the above

address for a non-refundable fee of $50.00. Only bids from bidders who have

purchased plans and specifications at the Civic Center Annex will be accepted. Copies

of plans and specifications are on file for review at various construction councils.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Work includes decommission and reconstruction of the

Winona Lift Station; bypass pumping; replacing the wetwell lid with new hatches and

manhole access; new pumps and motors; new electrical service and controls;

concrete pad; water service and appurtenances; valve vault; connection to existing

force main, new telemetry, controls, and SCADA programming; painting; erosion

control; traffic control; and associated Work.

Estimated Project Cost: $275,000.00

The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids if such action is in the best

interest of the City.
