July 20

Officers assisted the Grant County Sheriff’s Office with suspicious subjects at Road K Northeast and East Broadway Avenue.

Report of possible child abuse in the 1300 block of East Nelson Road. Child Protective Services was contacted and determined nothing criminal had occurred.

A man and woman were contacted after asking for money on private property in the 600 block of South Pioneer Way. The people were trespassed from the property.

Report of a glass door open at a residence in the 1500 block of South James Avenue. The house was searched and police did not find anyone inside, or anything out of order.

A man reported his uncle kicked his dog in the 1100 block of West Market Street. Police could not locate the alleged suspect.

A man advised his vehicle was backed into a parking lot in the 1100 block of North Stratford Road. The suspect vehicle was driven from the scene and eventually contacted by police. The driver was cited for not having insurance and a report will be forward to the Prosecutor’s Office for hit-and-run.

Report of a dog running at large in the 600 block of South Ironwood Drive. Police searched the area, but could not locate the dog.

Report of an attempted burglary at a residence in the 900 block of East Cherry Street. Evidence of a person attempting to force open a sliding door was found, but no entry was gained into the residence. The reporting party said his TV had been moved and laptop was stolen.

A woman reported a man was scaring his dogs with a Taser in the 600 block of West Fourth Avenue. The man denied scaring the dogs when contacted by police.

Report of a purse containing credit cards and a cellphone stolen from Safeway.

A business reported that an employee who had been fired was refusing to leave and an argument was in progress.

A suspicious vehicle was reported in an elderly man’s driveway. An occupant of the vehicle said that he didn’t know where the driver was.

An iPad was reported stolen at the Gorge.

A man reported that someone staying at his house was using meth.

A woman reported “shady” people walking around her house.

A woman reported that a male subject went into her neighbors’ yard and picked their roses.

A male subject was reported walking near the road, stumbling and unable to keep his composure.

A man reported that his neighbor, against whom he has a restraining order, put a propane tank in front of his door. The neighbor also reportedly put spiked objects behind the reporting party’s daughter’s car and popped her tires.

A 2000 maroon GMC Jimmy was reported stolen.

Suspicious male subjects were reported walking around the Base area selling security systems.

A woman reported that someone coughed on her, took pictures of her car, called her names and threatened to make her “pay for it.”

A vehicle was reported hidden in an orchard.

A man reported that his girlfriend’s ex was trying to get his information from his landlord.

A woman reported that someone was trying to take her sister-in-law’s truck.

A man reported that someone came in his residence while he was sleeping and stole his medications.

July 21

A landlady reported that her renters, who were supposed to be out of the residence by midnight, were still there when she went to change the locks at 12:35.

A woman reported hearing a young female screaming.

A four-wheeler was reported stolen.

July 20

Jennifer Shearer, 36, of Moses Lake, was booked on a Department of Corrections violation.

Danielle Anguiano, 21, no city of residence listed, was booked on a Grant County District Court warrant and a Othello District Court warrant.

Liberty Perry, 39, a transient, was booked for violating a no-contact order.

Christina Esparza, 35, of Quincy, was booked on a GCDC warrant.

Emmanuel Magallon, 19, of Quincy, was booked on a DOC order.

Rodney Ezell, 28, a transient, was booked for violating a no-contact order.

Victor Martinez, 38, of Royal City, was arrested and booked on a King County Superior Court warrant.

Leonel Velasquez, 36, of Beverly, was arrested and booked for obstructing a public servant.
