North Franklin Region Transportation Cooperative Facility
In accordance with chapter 39.80 RCW, North Franklin School District is utilizing the Request for Qualifications process for acquiring architectural and certain engineering services. The District invites you to submit your firm’s qualifications for architectural and engineering services for the design, construction administration, and related services for the new North Franklin Region Transportation Cooperative Facility.
The tentative schedule for architect selection is:
• First advertisement for qualification statements: July 18th, 2016
• Second advertisement for qualification statements: July 25th, 2016
• Qualification statements due: Aug 3rd, 2016, 4:00 pm
• Short list completed by: Aug 5th , 2016
• Recommendation to School Board: Aug 9th/ 23rd 2016
Provide 10 copies of your qualifications by 4:00 PM, Aug 3rd, 2016 to:

Please adhere to the following format to facilitate review of your qualifications.
1. Provide general information about your firm including size, location, and length of time in business etc. (10 points)
2. Demonstrate examples of new facilities your firm has designed that are similar in scope to North Franklins proposed project. (10 points)
3. Discuss how you would approach the design of a modest, semi-rural transportation facility to minimize its construction cost while providing a quality functional facility (10 points)
4. Provide a list of proposed architectural staff, their proposed roles and professional resumes for each. (10 points)
5. Include a description of how your firm approaches permits and entitlements for a project of this type and what approvals might be the most significant. (10 points)
6. Provide a list of the professional engineers and other consultants that you propose for your team and a summary of their relevant experience. (10 points)
7. List professional references and testimonials from school district clients. (10 points)
8. Other information that you feel differentiates your firm from others. (10 points)
